Gravity Trails has moved to 3 new locations!!!

Activities Adventures Door County Gem Mining News Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Gravity Trails Zip Lining, Gem Mining, Stand Up Paddle Board and Kayak Tours has moved locations and are in the process of expanding!  After being at the Rowley’s Bay Resort for the past four years, the opportunity to expand and add new activities became available and the owners jumped at the chance.  This season there are a total of four new locations spread around the County with additional activities to come!

A new giant Zip Line Racer has been added to the activities and is located at the Egg Harbor Fun Park (7340 Hwy 42).  Share the experience of zip lining with a friend or family member and race each off the platform the length of a football field to the ground.  (www.eggharborfunpark.com/)The Zip Line Canopy Tour has moved to an exciting new location, plans are in the works and shooting to open in late July.  Keep an eye out on GravityTrails.com for the secret new location to be revealed with a Grand Opening.

Gem Mining, where kids, as well as adults discover gems, minerals, rocks, fossils and arrowheads has also moved locations. This year Gem Mining will be located at the Bounce Zone, located next to Johnson’s Park in Sister Bay (10621 N. Highland Rd, off of HWY 42).  When you arrive to Gem Mine, there is always an assortment of enriched soil buckets to choose from, once you pick your bucket, you will take it over to the mining flume where you will sift through the soil and discover all of your gems, minerals, rocks, fossils and arrowheads, that you get to take home with you!  Suggested buckets are always the Emerald and Ruby and the Fossil bucket.  If you are an avid Gem Miner, make sure to get the Rock Hound!

In years past Gravity Trails offered guided Kayak tours of the Mink River Estuary, but the water levels became too low.  This year we are now operating out of the beautiful Gordon Lodge Resort in Baileys Harbor (1420 Pine Drive, off HWY Q).  Not only are there Kayak tours available, but brand new this year we have Stand Up Paddle Board tours!  Tours offered are a guided tour of the protected and warm North Bay waters, which include numerous shipwrecks and lots of wildlife, as well as the picturesque and well known Cana Island Lighthouse.  Suggested tour times are always first thing in the morning, as well as the sunset.  Gordon Lodge also has breakfast, lunch and dinner options.  Tours enjoy coming back from being on the water and grabbing a bite or a drink Top Deck, where you are always guaranteed a great view North Bay.  (http://www.gordonlodge.com/)
